Unexpectedly underwhelming stay

The hotel had a lovely lobby that provided a warm welcome and made for great pictures. I enjoyed the coffee offered in the lobby, which was a nice touch.

However, the lack of room service was disappointing, and I faced issues with the hot water during my stay. The room cleanliness left much to be desired as well.

The stay was pleasant, yet the

cleanliness of the bathroom left something to be desired. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, but I did notice some maintenance issues in my room that need attention for an otherwise great location.

Room service not available!!! Elevators felt outdated and slow!!! A hot water issue persisted during my stay, and housekeeping was inconsistent on towel replacements!!!

The hotel boasts a spacious conference area with modern technology, perfect for meetings and events. The bathroom and room cleanliness stood out, providing a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation.

The parking fee felt a bit steep at nearly $15 per night, which could add up quickly during a longer stay. I didn’t receive fresh towels during my visit, and the large dispensers for soap and shampoo didn’t quite cut it for a place of this caliber. Also, I found the body wash scent somewhat off-putting, which might not be an issue for everyone but definitely affected my experience.

Exceptional breakfast staff!

We really enjoyed our stay with the kids! The hotel was conveniently located near the Children's Discovery Museum and other fun attractions that kept our little ones entertained. The staff were accommodating and the facilities were clean and spacious, perfect for family bonding time.

My kids wished there were more activities for them to do on site.

i had a fantastic time enjoying the nearby parks and hitting the shops just a short walk away—especially loved chilling at the nearby african american heritage trail and taking in the views at the redbird arena, which is just a few steps from the hotel, making it perfectly easy for me to explore the city without the hassle of driving.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the large indoor pool, great for unwinding after a busy day. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety, especially the made-to-order omelet station. Staff members were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. However, I encountered an issue when I tried to check in. They initially placed us in the wrong room and it felt quite unsettling. Additionally, communication could have been better. calling for assistance worked but available email options would make things smoother, especially for international guests. I also wish there was more clarity about amenities upon arrival, like information on local dining options and room service menus. Overall, a good stay but with opportunities for improvement in guest communication and services.

Staying at the Marriott in Bloomington was a delightful experience. I enjoyed the clean room and a nice hot shower, perfect after a day of exploration. However, the breakfast options seemed a bit pricey. Overall, a great place for travelers like me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay! The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious and fresh options, perfect for fueling our day. The large fitness center was a pleasant surprise, featuring an array of well-maintained equipment. I highly recommend exploring the delicious casadillas at the onsite restaurant!
